“Doing ordinary things, extraordinarily well”. Bishop Jules Peeters.
The Sisters of Saint of the Child Jesus of Buea are members of an indigenous Catholic Religious Order of women who were founded in 1963 by Bishop Jules Joseph Willem Peeters. We promote the Gospel of Christ Jesus which is Love and enhance social justice for all humankind, especially the marginalized persons with particular interest on women.
Like Saint Therese of the Child Jesus who invested love and dedication in all that she did, we, together with our co-workers across 6 Dioceses have for 60 years, expressed this love by engaging in Health Care, Education at all levels and Socio-Pastoral works.
“In the heart of the Church, My mother. I shall be love; thus I shall be everything.”-St. Therese of Lisieux.
“Lord in the simplicity and sincerity of my heart, I have willingly and joyfully given all to you”.-Saint Therese of Lisieux
